Him:
Days turned darker, nights grew long,
Without you here, I can’t stay strong.
Your words, they haunt me, day and night,
In this world alone, I lose the fight.

Her:
My love, I’m here, though you can’t see,
Close your eyes, feel me in the breeze.
Your pain I feel, your sorrow deep,
But life is precious, promises keep.

Him:
I tried, my love, to honor your plea,
But without you, there’s no life for me.
I search the skies, call out your name,
This endless ache, a burning flame.

Her:
Don’t give up, my heart still beats,
In every memory, where love meets.
But if you choose to leave this place,
I’ll be waiting, in heaven’s grace.

Him:
I can’t go on, this life a void,
In death, perhaps, I’ll be overjoyed.
To hold you close, feel your touch,
In heaven’s arms, I’ll love you much.

Her:
Come to me, love, if you must,
In heaven’s light, we place our trust.
No more sorrow, no more pain,
Together, we’ll find joy again.

He closed his eyes, took a breath so deep,
In silence, he crossed to eternal sleep.
Awakening to a light so bright,
In heaven’s embrace, his heart took flight.

Him:
My love, it’s you, so radiant, so near,
In this place, there’s no more fear.
Together at last, in heaven’s embrace,
I see the love upon your face.

Her:
Welcome, my dear, to eternal peace,
In this realm, our love will never cease.
No more tears, no earthly binds,
Just endless joy, our hearts entwined.

Hand in hand, they soared above,
In heaven’s realm, forever in love.
Their souls united, never to part,
Two halves of one, a single heart.
