What we know of history are only the stories told and passed down,
How can we be sure they are accurate and not altered?
After all, they were told by humans who are capable of tuning it to suit the occasion.
The heroes didn't always survive to tell the real story,
Or the real heroes might be someone else entirely unrelated to the story.
