His Part
With shaky hands he took the knife
His mobile rang, it was his wife
He turned away, ignored the call
And walked beside the kitchen wall
On his way, before the door
He glanced towards the kitchen floor
There it lay, before his eyes
The letter that exposed the lies
He closed his eyes and shook his head
He didn't stop but walked instead
Out of the house into the yard
His heart was pounding very hard
She lied to him for oh so long
And made him think that he was wrong
Well now he'd show her who he was
He knelt down on the drying grass
The time had come to play his part
He thrust the knife straight through his heart
