Post Diwali Feelings....
After the wonderful Diwali's glow,
Loneliness cheers where lights used to show
Joy and Grace, now a fading trace,
In solitude's embrace, shadows find their space.
Laughter echoes within the walls
The night surrenders, and the light falls
Silent streets have a depressed cheer
A void lingers with a supressed tear
Diyas, their light, their warmth departed
Loneliness blooms, heavy-hearted.
Memories stay like stars in the night,
For a few moments, then out of sight
Diwali's aftermath, my silent whisper
Leaves my soul yearning, like some sinner
Silence embraces the solitary me
How do you say it's a matter of weeks?
The tiny moments of joy and delight,
Together weave the loneliness' plight
The heart never full but yet so heavy
How do I accept this strange tyranny?
