I want a man who is black
Like charcoal with skin so smooth
Like rocks of Umchabezi river,
Skin that glows better than stars at night.
I want a guy, who is taller than an electric
pole, with teeth as white as a snow
Capping Drakensberg mountains.
I dream of a guy, innocent as a lamb
And soft as a wool, who is easy to
Please like ABC.
A guy who is muscular as a silverback.
Whose mustache is big like gum tree.
A man with oval shaped lips.
I want a guy whose heart is made of
Steel and iron but soft as a rabbit,
And naughtier than the word naughty.
A guy who is shy like a girl
And captious like a tennis player.
I want a man who is patient like time
And loves me to the moon and beyond.
A guy who will stand by me like a shadow,
I want a guy who doesn't exist
Because I’m scared of falling in love
