The joy of love
Should I serenade you with a melody,
Craft verses that flow endlessly?
Should I play drums, a rhythmic beat,
Or etch it on the skyline, a love so sweet?
Your smile, a masterpiece, a work of art,
Your voice, birdsong at dawn, stealing my heart,
Your eyes, innocent, yet mischief shines through,
Your touch, soft as feathers, silk so true.
I loved you before our paths converged,
A love surreal, yet undeniably surged.
Each day, grateful for this gift we share,
But fate's own dance brought you into our air.
For if your parents' moment wasn't then,
The stars wouldn't align, destiny in a bend,
And without you, my love, this life would miss,
A love so profound, sealed with a kiss.
