My biggest fear is that I will fail....
Failure is inevitable they say..
But atleast have a standard of failure you will not accept..
Here it goes...
My biggest fears are...
To fail my son as a father and not be there when he really needs me...to be physically present but absent in the little boys heart...
To fail as a husband...
To fail my mum as her son.
For what is life without love??
failure to love is the worst failure possible because without love and affection one finds himself alone and there is nothing worse than being alone...
Everything is always better if one has a shoulder to cry on or be cried on...a comforter when things go south...
A hero when one needs somewhere to look for inspiration...My life may not be of lacking worldly things or missing a meal but where I have lacked is where a father figure is to be found and as such am found empty...with a father that though present is oblivious to who I am or what I stand for...he knows only what his told and what he might suspect....my level of failure will never affect my relationships because I understand unlike most what longing really means and the hurt that comes with being presented with a shell of a father to say hi.....I refuse to be a shell like you,present but never there in all the relationships you failed.
