THE EYES PRATTLING HOPE
I saw the blue eyes of a fairy girl
Lively in her Clementine frock
Dancing down the isle
Adorned by an innocent smile.
Just to wilt in a cathedral of grief
And lay as a cold rigored corpse
At the halidom of idles
Beneath the dumps of garbage
I saw the green eyes of
A chubby girl covered in her scarf
Shining like a chrysoberyl pearl
In the ecstacy of
petrichor of her new books
Just to lie still
A gun Shot through her scarf
Shattering the shining pearls
Of dreams from her eyes
I saw the Sunken jet eyes
of a withered girl
With skinny limbs and dry lips
Deeply searching for the pristine
drops of elixir for life
I saw the grey eyes of
a naive girl crowering
Beneath the shattered windowpanes
Amidst the tyranny of terrorism
With each minute praying in
Gratitude for keeping her alive
All their eyes whimpered
For a lusturous ray of Hope
The name of the Hope Called
'Humanity'
Lively in her Clementine frock
