As the evening comes to a close,
You were thinking about what you want to do with the rest of your life,
The clock chimed and something unusual took place...
As the clock struck six
Something strange happened
I was transported to the future
Where I was an old woman of ninety
With nary a human around me
I was in bed with fever
And delirious
Thinking of lost loves
Suddenly, my entire life flashed before me
I realised that what I wanted most was love
And voila, I was brought back to the present
By a quirk of fate
And realized I was middle aged
This wake- up call made me
Value those around me
And this time, when my neighbour rang the doorbell,
I greeted him enthusiastically!
