broken homes
T. G. P poems

Let me this moment to tell
In such a remarkable lane to dwell
That the entwine in once a bliss,
Would find their loving heart for peace

What lies unwanted in the sacred books
seems a neglect the world looks
Much said adultery in the scribbled
such laid merry in maid bed

And certainly be this in the olden and now
The Solomon's marital sow
which incapable souls nowadays sought
while some in their awareness loathe

And assuredly exists this in the olden and now
choice of worship as the daily bow
which men in their true love mixed
different religion, mixed in couple engaged

And spring up junior till vanish toddler
desperate in her choice when at nipper
like a bard once a lifetime lives
In the later when his way to follow comes

And tell, my capacious which in hers embrace
shall it in the new lane now disgrace
no, this said; for when at nipper thus nurture
in the field where the fairy chance captures

Hardly shall be firm to walk out
and sadly shall be stem to call out
the knocking comes that knock at feud
he asking comes, that tuck at shrewd

Then with her child and where fate could her find,
nurture him till worn out of mind
"Come dearie, hand for the sake of our son
and thus he at a better frame, plead the unison

So gracious to another home she went
while lies in mind that child in lent
and what is such now to follow
his too, but evanescent not tomorrow

Though reluctant surely the child be
happy turn when the world is to be
drivers in their separate ways advertise their way
but who in that feather fly the right way

So that the child in his doubting mind finds
yet equal those stance seems to mind
except that of hers, a serene choice
but mind other child on that choice

Sorrow is thinking, thinking bore loath
morrow is weeping , weeping bore death
so bears this stance not to fall a broken home
and polygamy be off! not to wake it come.
