As the years move past me
I’ve think I’ve evolved
But I don’t think I’ve ever thought I had anything to resolve
It is what it is

Didn’t make resolutions
Just because
That what’s expected
I prefer the inevitable kiss
But if I had to make one
It would truly be this

Look towards the future
Forget about the past
Live life filled with gratitude
Cause humility will last
A lot longer than resentment
Life’s too short and moves too fast
Gonna live my life with joy and happiness
And have myself a blast
Gone are the yearnings
For things I don’t need
Climbing the ladder
Watching other’s hands bleed
If that what it takes
To so called, succeed
I’ll spend my time giving
Truly blessed I am indeed
