Rain
Rain blesses these lands encouraging nature to grow
Her gifts spreading beauty, as she hides her darkness further below

She gives us her rain, and we take it for granted
Even as life in a quiet community elsewhere,
Is quite dry and disadvantaged

She has bound herself to serving us, her benefits are ours to keep
So why when she thunders are we inclined to feel so weak?

Consequently, we only accept what we want to see
Judging certain aspects of her, was never the key
Collectively we worship her when she’s there for us,
Yet when she storms we curse her in brutal disgust

You cannot have a storm without thunder and rain
However, there cannot be a person without a little suffering and pain

She gave us her life force, unfortunely she is somehow never enough
We should embrace her full storm, society is far too selfish and rough.
