everyone deserves a voice
They don't hear them and trample over
Everything that the youth say
They think if someone is a kid they have to follow
And when they raise their voice it may be taken away
No one sees their feelings even if they come from their mouth
They think it's only due to age
No one cared that I was hurt and it was hard
Knowing No one wants to hear what I wanted to say
I'm sick of seeing how the youth is treated
They don't listen to anything and don't care
Just like they had me committed
It still hurts remembering cause it wasnt really fair
I needed to be heard and to be supported
But sadly the reality was very different from that
I wanted someone to listen and it was important
But they think u don't have to be listened to if ur young
Their words used to cut like a knife
And still cut me cause I know it's true
I don't want it to be and don't know how to fight
It's not the right thing people have to do
For talking about it Do I have to be ashamed
Do I have to be taken like I'm immature
All I want is to express my rage
And get rid of what makes me insecured
