TIME HEALS,
It's what we all believe,
It's what we've been told,
yet my heart still feels heavy;

IT WILL PASS,
It's the expectation we all have,
It's the hope that we carry,
yet today feels just as painful as yesterday;

IT'S OKAY,
It's our common answer,
It's what we want everyone to believe,
yet we're not feeling as okay as we say;

IT'S FINE,
It's what we've been taught to say,
It's our default,
yet it's lost its meaning.

We hold on to hope because it's our life line. I could argue that life is hope, it's believing that it's heals, it'll pass, it's okay and it's fine and all our confessions but sometimes that it's hard to believe. This is a reminder that you're not alone and yea it's all true.
