They say an eye for an eye leaves the world blind
But what about the eye that consumes the tears that I cry
It hurts to be cursed and yet in darkness I try
I suffer from pain that bears no responsibility on my side
Those rich in health move onto pecuniary lives
While those impoverished in health suffer upon the streets and defeat every night
These incontinuities that the world should be fixing
Leaves emptiness upon mindset for those who aren't listening
Look upon the misery from those bold enough to bounce
For every minute of verbal abuse, insult or name leaves a scar to deeply wounded to remove from doubt
Look for the victim challenged in society
For you never know the types of atrocities they encounter under tragedy
For it is me, who is one of many
