Today is such a cold and dreary day.
Everything's so wet and cold.
The sky is dark and aflame.
Today is a very dark day.

As the rain falls and fades away,
I see a puddle grow and run.
I see my life and dreams wash away,
and I watch all the lies drown today.

The darkness in me seeps out in this day,
It loves dark and rainy days like today.
Days like today help me feel at home,
it is what keeps me from loosing my way.
