When we loved
I still recall, it was thrilling. I still call it 'the greatest feeling'. You were there, we both were. We cared, we'd fallen.

Vaguely, i still run back, if to be touched by your hand. Lately, I've been there, being both happy and sad.

Surroundings tumble down, yet we don't hear the sound. Oblivious to the world, even with a plague so loud.

So real are the kisses, they've never gone missing. Your voice is of reason, the rest are indistinct.

I still recall fears, the shedding of tears. I still remember flaws, along with downpours.

I've not forgot we loved, - that your heart was one as mine. We carved our names in love, and so this pain shall slowly die.
