Thoughts Of A Black Insecure Girl
Am I beautiful enough,
Is my skin too dark,
Does my smile lighten up the world,
Do I have the appearance of a pearl.
Will I be able to find love, I asked myself?
Or am I just delusional, thinking anyone will look my way?
These insecure thoughts go on day by day,
And I wonder, will they ever go away?
Does my appearance make anybody stare,
Will I ever have perfect hair?
Why am I different from any other girl,
Why don't I have perfect curves?
Am I too skinny, or just average?
I guess I'm just too savage to manage,
Why am I different from anybody else in the world ?
Oh wait ! ,I'm just a unique girl.
