I’ve known since elementary school that Pluto revolves around the sun
It’s actually the farthest planet from our solar system
And they have this moon called Charon which revolves really close in its orbit Sometimes scientist, refer these two objects as double planets
Pluto is a very cold and alone planet 
I’ve always been drawn to those types of people 
Someone distant and someone quiet
Not much to say but very observant 
Someone sneakily defiant
At first i thought that was you 
I liked the vibe you were giving off
Wanted to be the one to orbit around you 
Shower me in kisses
Held me while I slept
A man who I really liked in my bed
Someone who would listen to me
Who didn’t make me feel like I was fucking crazy and mean
Someone who was actually gonna see my side of things
Someone who was always be on my team
I wanted us to be double planets together 
Double partners making future plans
But you turned sour
Got me seeing the real side of our situationship
Had me feeling like I had no gravitational power

When I got a lil older I was told Pluto wasn’t considered a planet anymore 
I didn’t understand why at first 
But when I looked it up it said that it’s because it has to “clear the neighborhood" around its orbit, meaning it must be gravitationally dominant and not share its orbital zone with other bodies of comparable size, except for its moons.”
Which is just a bunch of big fancy words saying that this planet is not making the cut
In the beginning i thought that was dumb
Who needs a moon revolving around it to bring it into its orbit
Come on show my 9th planet some love
But now I get it
