The time seems to have just flew by,
Those earlier moments of euphoria for one another,
When all we thought about was being next to each other,
Such an aura we had so much harder to recover,

I felt your heart in my hand,
And it's beat was mine alone,
I gave you mine and you grew scared,
Maybe because it was something you hadn't yet known,

We sure did leap at the chance,
In the moment so innocently provoken,
We didn't know how to fix ourselves,
But together we knew we wasn't broken,

It's been some crazy ups and downs back and forth,
No matter how many fights we have to no end,
I learn a little bit more about our love and what it takes,
And I get to watch our struggles evolve and transcend,

These last four months haven't been easy,
We've both got weights thrown upon the others back,
But you complete parts of me no one ever has,
And for that your helping me find the part of me I lack,

It scares me to death when we fight,
I know that amazing feeling we first had is still there,
Don't look for the good sifting through the bad,
Because at the end of the day we save each other from despair,

I'll never not see my future always with you,
And you will always be the savior of my misbeating heart,
The time seems to have just flew by,
