We here fearing the worst.
Not knowing who to trust.
Our lives thrown in oblivion.
We stand together a nation.

Our hands we should wash.
Yet this disease spreads.
Sanitizers a must.
A reason not to trust.

Social distanced enforced.
A question of been cursed.
Our prayers synced.
Seem nations are jinxed.

It is in the world over.
An antidote sort after.
We live for a day given.
Not sure - the world not even.

Super powers crawling.
The world praying.
Reality strikes home.
This disease even in Rome?

Mass graves in huge sum.
World economy in a slump.
Covid-19 they call it.
That the explanation to it.

Is it bioligical?
Yet we need to be logical.
Symptoms are of a cough.
Why is it so tough?

Chronic pneumonia they say.
Yet there is no way.
The divine a way out.
A need to stay away from crowd.

So we pray desperately.
Hoping its temporal.
Waiting patiently.
For a virus that's respiratory.
