MY VIOLIN
Delicate as I pull its strings
Does it play when I have the courage?
Does it play when I tune its base?

My dream,
I have held all these years,
Away from this world's consciousness.
In me, it dwells,
Hallowed and solemn
To sprout when time is appointed.

As sacred as Osun River
My dream runs wild through life's challenges
Through men's perspectives,
breaking borders.

My violin,
Its melody transcends summits
To amuse the deaf and bring them hope.

Even when silent,
Mystical, it may be,
Washing down the shaws
of reality.
