Meet me in the middle,
With an open mind,
Set aside differences,
We're the same kind.
In mutual agreement,
Our goals were aligned,
In harmony of opinion,
We devised a means.
We were once brothers,
Before deceit reared up,
You listened to distortion,
I paid attention to fabrication.
The seed of discord was sown,
When we least expected it,
Since they wanted in on the game,
With no concept of its rules.
Disregarding our sleepless nights,
And brooding days staring inwards,
With a desire to visualise the unknown,
And execute the uniquely impossible,
Meet me halfway let's bury the hatchet.
