The Sojourner's Ode.
VOID 🌀 :
Memories call to me,
From the land of my birth,
I am cut lose to wander.
Amongst the wandering crew,
Abroad in mind,
Abroad in nature.

MyrninAsterSnow ❄️:
The wind blows strong, across the sea,
As the waves carry me.
I am a leaf, carried by the wind,
Far from my roots again, but within,
My memories call, from lands of old,
I long for home.
Should I listen to the call?
Or keep adrift with memory's gifts?

VOID 🌀 :
Stray thoughts accompany me,
Speaking in Rhyming statutes,
Reminding me of the Celtic soul.
Whose ancestry bold and strong,
Cut loose the ties that bound them,
As they wept a river of song.

MyrninAsterSnow ❄️:
The music swells, across the years,
Echoing their sorrows and their fears.
Their voices lift, in haunting chant,
A song of loss, of love and want.
Their faces blurred, by time's slow hands,
But their voices clear, their hearts demand.
Carry on this song, and share their plea,
Remind the world, of their memory.

VOID 🌀 :
Let the wind be witness,
Let it be witness to their thoughts.
Let it carry on these memories unto the next,
Now I am free to sigh upon the sighing breeze,
Nothing calls out to me.

MyrninAsterSnow ❄️:
For in this world of freedom,
I am bound by my mind,
No memories speak, no heart to find.
Lost and floating, adrift and cold,
My soul is empty, no stories told.
The wind keeps blowing,
The waves keep rolling,
I am a leaf, in silence, folding.
