RAINING TEARS
Insults never break a bone,
In this race I swear you have won,
Respect in full I have accorded you,
But this would you survive if you were in my shoe?
Those I call mine have turned against me,
Contempt like I am a piece of trash,
Trashing my name I have no face,
Still holding on I believe I will win.
That what I do you all don't approve,
My efforts to you aren't good enough,
My little hand of help disgusts you,
Words so hot you rain on me.
Hate from my own I have pocketed,
My hot tears I shed daily,
Watching my own family avoid me,
Their don't care acting kills me.
Soaked in tears,
I will shake off all my fears,
This will live in me for years,
Moving on I will but remembering me you will.
