This morning I awoke with a smile on my face

There was nothing better than to be born in a new place

The sun peeped in to say 'good morning'

I yawned and stretched my arms to the ceiling

Standing up and heading for the balcony

I saw the kids play on the streets like it was a Saturday

Breathing in and letting the hammartan wind soak in my lungs

I spread my arms to let the sound of this ember month in

2020 was almost over

It had been a shitty year, that's for sure

I still can't wait for the new year to begin

I hope it brings great things and compensate us for what we've lost

I hope it brings freedom with it to help us cope with all our losses

Oh well, I'll be going to get some hot chocolate now

I think I'll take some biscuits with it

I'll see you all on the other side
