The Wrong Turn..
I’m headed down a rood that’s designated for those in
A dark comodidated place
Where people like me looked at in
Disgrace This path that I’m traveling on it well known for taking a wrong tur
A hard lerson that I wish I never had to learn This route does not exempt anyone from it’s ill temptation
It doesn’t lead you to peace but to your own explatation
No matter man or women, black, white, purple or blue
This can happen to anyone which means, this includes even you So sit back, and listen to what I’m about to disclose
Here is the results from the path I regretfully chose
People like me ke to take shortcuts to forget what they like to amen
By doing that they continue to repeat the wiclous cycle that seems to never end
It has confined me to these addictions I try to control Which has me fighting internal battles that’s taken its final toll
I’N chase after anything that will distract and numb me
Anything to help disguise what I want no one to see
To fill this vald I have to ultimately play the devil gome
Which unintentionally has me wrestling with my demons / like to entertain
Idrink to feel again and to forget my troubles for tomorrow
Ismoke to quite the voices I accommodate to numb my sorrow
There’s a storm that’s raging uncontrollably inside of my heart
Its been festering inside me from the very start As I search to quench this thirst that will never be satisfied and good enough floose sight on wher’s most important and on those I love
I had no instructions from a map telling me where to go
So I went down the only road ever know
And before I knew it the days turned into years
And I’m still stuck here running from my fears Reality is that it’s more confortable to live in this confusion
Then to face situations or problems to discover there’s no absolution
No more chances or excuses to dance with the devil with in
This nightmare hos to come to an end It’s time to find a home where I belong
This has been going on for far to long
The ending to this story is mine alone to dictate
It will be based on the changes I’m wiling to make and how long wait.
