COSMOS OF MEMORY (II)
every star, a story
of what was once reality
some burn brightly,
still warm like the winds of yesterday
some twinkle tenderly,
their last few pages fading away
some dazzle violently,
ends and beginnings in their wake
distant glimpses of self-history:
defeats and victories,
daily pleasantries
and nightly melancholies
friends and lovers
and family and strangers
every star, a shining echo of the past
once is, and now was,
only their lessons left to last
