Lost Love's Gleam
You held a diamond, pure and bright,
A love that promised endless light.
Yet you turned from what was clear and true,
For grains of sand, where shadows brew.

You smile now with the sand in hand,
Finding joy in shifting, fleeting strands.
While I am left with heartstrings torn,
A diamond lost, and dreams forlorn.

You bask in light that's false and thin,
Embracing joy where shadows spin.
But here I am, with pieces strewn,
A heart that breaks beneath the moon.
