Just another statistic, a number on a page. you were taken away from me, at such an early age. Everyone was shocked, when they learned the news. I guess they were blind and didn't see the clues. If anyone was watching, it was plain to see. Bound by your addiction, you and unable to break free. I watch you suffer, as you did your best to fight. All I had to do was look at you, and I knew you weren't alright. I wish there was something, that I was able to do. Every night I prayed, that God would somehow save you. Another person I love, that's been taken away from me. Another statistic that was unable to break free.
