Stalker In The Night
Silent spider stepping on silken thread
The tentative surveillance from the corner of the room
Are you feeling nervous yet? scurrying, trembling
Like an insect woven into her web
Keep quiet, keep still, or else he'll know
Even movement small and silent will alert him
Recking his reaction for once he finds out

I've been watching him
Night after night, from the corner of his room

Tantalizing images of belonging to him
Holding him, instead of her
Early in the morning, late in the night

Never enough, somehow, but I know
I know who he is, I know him like no other
Gathering everything there is like a killing obsession
Hanging from the wall, weaving my web of lies
To watch him like he is my possession
