One eye said to the other eye,
"I cannot see, can you tell me why?"
"That's because you have a sty!"

Hearing this, the first eye looked st the second and let out a deep sigh.
"Oh, is it just a sty"
"Then why does the boy who has us sit and cry?"

"That's because people tell him a lie!"
They call him blind and the 'one with an evil eye!'

The eyes looked at the world around, which looked dry,
They saw people, telling the boy
"Why don't you die?"

Why is disease, disability and handicap
viewed with such a negative attitude?
Let us all think and change this very latitude.
Let us all work to empower people with disabilities, as in every dis-ability there is a hidden ability.
