Forgiveness
No matter the cruelty,
my soul won't subdue.
Deep wounds may bleed,
yet compassion shall live.
Grasping human frailties,
their flaws and their plight,
I surrender to grace,
to Divine Intervention's might.
For bitterness and revenge,
I shall not nurse,
Instead, forgiveness blooms,
a blessing dispersed.
For in compassion's tender grasp,
Lies power to heal,
to mend, to clasp,
Letting redemption dance,
let love's light expand.
