The more you want a reply from a person, the more they'll keep silent. Write a poem about it.
It's the exaggerated sighs,
the long hours apart,
I wait looking at a blank screen,
hoping the hour a bring me a sign,
a message hes there hearing me,
longing for me to push through,
he can't be silent now,
when I pushed upon shore for his hand,
he can't leave me stranded at the lines,
he drew for me to see,
not when these waves got bad,
he can't leave me silent,
now that I'm waiting for him,
to lead me out this withering storm,
I been wandering in since I jumped off that boat,
to seek shelters in his heart,
he promised he'll sat for me to come,
placing cones at the border to enter,
feels that much worse looking at the blank shore,
his footsteps use to decorate,
telling me he'll walk forever,
until I make it back,
but I'm here waiting,
and hes gone without a reply,
not a voicemail to keep me comfort,
just the slience of his longing heart,
I thought I had.
