EID: FEST OF HOLY RESTRAINT
EID: FEST OF HOLY RESTRAINT
O holy arms of the Prophet divine,
Embrace us all in thy graceful shrine,
Let us all to the Lord be one,
And shine agleam as the yonder sun.
Self restraint must rein us all,
And may we hear thy rever'd call,
May the sinful ogres inside,
Be purged in flames from e'ery side.
Aid us Lord to unite to thee,
And breathe a life in godly glee,
May the blissful Allah bestow,
On e'ery man his resplendent glow.
May we triumph each race we run,
And illume the world as the fulgid sun.
Let no sin be e'er so strong,
To ravish humanity all along.
O holy Lord; I pray to thee,
May each life on earth be free,
Free of slavery; anguish'd bonds,
And free to savour their life beyond.
The month of fast hath ceased this hour,
And sheer mankind is in thy power.
Bless 'em joy and a blissful mind,
And bless 'em devotion that's not blind.
I wish each mortal savour this day,
And fete thy presence and sacredly pray.
Let 'em savour the sweets divine,
And bathe ardently in thy shine.
