This Garden
When this love was new we used to plant seeds that the rain would water. We used to harvest love out of that garden. In time that garden of love grew weak. The seeds that we used to plant together were no longer there. Instead of us both trying to plant those seeds it was just me. The we turned into I and the us turned into you. How much longer do I have to see that this garden is just being tended to by myself? Love is a garden that needs tending from both parties. Not just one. It takes unity. It is our garden but somewhere this garden failed. I've asked for hope. I've asked for help. I'm out there everyday planting seeds, hoping that one day I'll look to the side of me and see who I've been missing. Seeing that love is still there. Seeing that this garden can be saved, that this garden can survive the seasons.
