My mind’s been in disarray since birth,
When do I finally get to focus on the things i was born to do and not live in fright?
Exceeding boundaries that have proved impossible for people like me,
Liberating and breaking chains that has for so long tied us down like mere beings.
The blank stares and judgmental gazes don’t trouble me,
It’s the inner critic, a man within my soul,
Examining me closely, controlling my actions,
Dictating my every move.
He lurks in the shadows, coercing me,
But I yearn to break free, to live on my own terms,
