A hero, but never appreciated
A provider, never thanked
A protector, seldom noticed

O Father, today I salute you
For giving me life
And a chance to exist

How can I thank you
For the love and care
That you've showered upon me

A hunter and a gatherer
A hustler and a leader
My caretaker you have been

So I take this opportunity
From the bottom of my heart
