I'm building a wall of feathers and fabric,
separating us from who we used to be.
There goes another one of my bad habits-
turning life into a scene from Grey's Anatomy.

You know how I am, the picking and the pulling-
tearing my world apart for the thrill of it all.
Dissatisfied in every way, but at peace with you
even as my demons begin to call.

A few capsules of sanity is all it took to hush
the restless spirits in my head.
Soon after came an idea that was pure poetry,
begging to read:

to sum up an intertwining of whirlwinds'
such as ours with the cliches' of ghosts
would be a crime.
We're writing a story no one else can-
the dreamer and the mastermind.
