Wish, desire, heart, star, reflection, smile, existence, behold, serene, warmth.

Imprisoned in the past
History which I decided how the story will be told.
All I have left now is a reflection of what use to be.
I didn't make provisions for plan 'B' nor did I plan.

I still feel the warmth of your hug like I just left your arms.
The smile was unique by you,
It's been years but I still fresh.

I was so scared and selfish,
Protecting my heart was all I wanted.
So sacred to loose you
That I lost even myself .

I held it all to myself because I knew how it will end.
Avoiding it still ended in tears.
I wish I didn't choose this path.
A path which makes me doubt my existence in your life now.

Fear of the future made me hide it all,
Deep inside my heart my desire was to be with you forever.
The stars can bare me witness,
But avoiding the risk of a heartbreak now makes my name misery.

Sadness, pain and sorrow are my favorite companions.
Doubt come visiting everyday.
I think the feeling is long over due,
It's time I let go
