The darkened glasses hide his gaze
They show him the world a shade blacker
Can white be lightened?
Can the black become darker?

Her crystal eyes
The glasses show off her eyes
They show her the world as it is
The horrible truth
The darkness in all its glory

He passes store windows and sees himself as her
She sees herself in him when she looks in the mirror
The world as a crisp
Burnt and cold again
How can you see the world as darker than it is?
They are the same because of the hurt

Pure glass and sunglass
A jet black abyss
The world shapes monsters
No matter how you see them

Staring into the dark and the hearts of every forsaken soul on the
dead
burnt
blackened
Rock we stay on
The rock that gives us our days
Our endless nights
Spinning infinitely into continuous black

It breathes more than them
It breathes more than us
Because we have not noticed yet
And we haven't found a way to destroy it
