Diamonds
#WritcoPoemChallenge
My life is an open book,
That led me through every nook,
And every corner of discovery,
Of life's long journey
I find unrefined diamonds
Stand the test of time
Miners that had look past
Made them even shine
The luster underneath
Reflected every year's past
Diamonds beaming on one's own
Without the need of refinement
To me, they look brighter than anything
Beauty culminated by confinement
in the darkness they overthrown.
