Oh Time!
Time! Oh time!
How precious you are to everbody
You are easy to make use of but also easy to lose you
Everyone wants more of you
Everybody wishes their days were longer and nights longer too so that they can be able to accomplish all that they need to do.
People wish they had more time on their hands so that they can be able to make more money and be able to spend more time with their loved ones.
Time! Oh time!
Where have you gone?
Oh how students wish that their weekdays would be short and their weekends longer so that they don't have to attend classes.
And how grown ups wish that they had more time on their hands so that they can work more and make more money
And others wish that their days were shorter and their nights longer so that they can get more time to sleep and rest
Time! Oh time!
It's no wonder why we relate time and money together
Because the more time we spend aimlessly, the less money we have and the less time we spend aimlessly the more money we have.
We wish we could have more extra days and time on our hands.
More weekdays to work more and more weekends to get enough rest.
But this is only a wish that can neve c come true.
Oh time! Oh time!
How we wish we could get more of you.
You are such a precious commodity that shouldn't be wasted at all, yet we often always find ourselves idling around and you being wasted.
Oh time! Oh time!
Teach us how to treat you with respect and make better use of the time we have.
