I said a prayer at the break of day.
I prayed that God may see you through,
and always be right there for you.
I prayed that he may shine a light,
upon your cold and lonely nights.
To hold your hand and keep you warm,
through every cold and windy storm.

I said a prayer for you today,
that things may always go your way.
That blessings may flow into your life,
and all your dreams may come alive.
In everything you do your shall succeed,
and he will provide your every need.
Your lifespan will be like pure gold,
so embrace your journey as you grow old.
