A World of If's
The sun rose early at dawn,
As it did every other day,
To go fetch a little light,
I stood still and watched,
As it got bigger and burn brighter,
I began to think of if and if's,
Just to make more sense out of this world,
If the heart had eyes;
Maybe love wouldn't be so blind and sad,
If the heart had ears;
Maybe she could listen before dancing to every sweetly music,
If only the heart wasn't made up of muscles;
Maybe she'll learn to use her brain more than this. . .
If and only if- This If's of mine could be true;
Maybe this world would carry less pain. . .
