Stand in the gap,
For sights clouded by the dark,
And lights grappling with their past,
For the shepherds and the sheep,
For the sheep straying from the fold.

Stay on your guard
For the minstrels on track and off track
For the widows and orphans
For the lost and the homeless
For the hungry and the naked.

Stay on plugged-in knees
For siblings and guardians
For infants , youths and adults
For the worrywarts and survivors.

I am a watchman,
Watchman are you,
Watchmen are we,
Be at alert always,
Seek not yet respose.
