Alone I Sit
Alone I Sit, concerned and worried;
Wondering if I am worthy of your heart;
I know what I feel, But fear the decision;
Knowing what you did, Worried how I feel;
Knowing what is now, Knowing how you feel;
Not knowing what's on, That beautiful mind;
Concerned I may lose, what you gave me;
Worried that the darkness, Will return if you leave;
I look at the world, Knowing I've seen;
Not afraid of death, Not Afraid of Rounds, But am afraid of losing you;
You brought my light, from within me;
I thought I'd never, feel this way again;
Been two decades, since I felt this light;
Fear that I, May lose it again;
You gave me hope, you gave me pride;
But how do I live, knowing what I know now?
Alone I Sit, giving you space;
Alone I Sit, tearing in sorrow;
I never thought I find this light within me,
For not for you, I'd never would've found this light;
I hope we can be friends, If you won't take my heart;
We both fear the future, of what this may become;
We both live on two different sides, Of our loving planet;
How I wish, I can express my heart;
I want to text you now, instead of writing this poem;
I am giving you space, and am going to respect your wishes;
Even though it may bring, My darkness back;
It won't be on you, it'll be on me; To attempt to face, the return of this darkness.
So Alone I Sit, hoping and praying, For your everlasting decision.
