I’m sitting here on a dusty library shelf,
yearning to bring laughter, cheer again,
waiting to brighten the darkest days,
not just sit here like a manikin.

Displayed so I’m easily found,
but have grown very dusty over time.
My pages haven’t been turned in years,
starting to get stiff in sublime....
