She stood there as her heart weeped
looking through the rain covered glass
Tears rolled down her cheeks
with her mind and heart heavy
she screamed as she shattered the glass beside her

looking for a family to love her and care for her
she slide down the wall behind her and cried into her hands

thinking about the family who had just dropped her off at another home
