I know these words might sound harsh,
Some might grimace toward them,
But I feel as if it were true.
The Bible says to love thy neighbor
Yet everyone claims they’ll do it later.

A simple ‘hello’ could change a world,
Yet most of you are too afraid to say the word.
A single hug could make a man proud,
But all you want to do is put on a frown.

Look, it's not very hard,
Be kind, be nice, and joyful at times.
Throw around a smile, a smirk,
I’m sure it'll make someone's face perk.

Just be joyous and happy,
Do not have any cares.
If you do, put them all on him,
For he has the biggest of all ears.
